Seen this car at work a couple times. The motor is sick.

It's your car, do what makes you happy! But, on that note, I agree with the lowering/kit situation. The wheels aren't my favorite, but I've seen worse.

 

Where in the world is your water pump, water pump pulley, and belt??

Is that an SR20DE with a turbo kit?

 

I would assume it's a fully built SR with different ignition system and electric water pump.

 

looking at the pic. kinda looks like it has an E water Pump on it yes?

 

I guess it’s just tough for me to get excided about the same old YAWN80sx with Need For Speed: Underground body kit.

Particularly when it isn’t painted.

 

not really, it looks more like a plate. You could assume theres an e-pump in there, or you could assume there is nothing in there and it doesn't run.

Not many people fork out the $$ for an e-pump on SRs, so i hoping he would answer.

i agree. too many people want to criticize s13s these days, when they don't realize how far the 240 scene has come. when i bought my first 240 back in like 99, i had to explain to people that rear wheel drive is actually better, and there is a turbo motor called the sr20det that these things come with overseas that makes it faster than their honda. these days you suck if you didn't pay at least $2000 used for your wheels and they don't fit perfectly.

part of that is because of their wild popularity, but still. give the guy a break, not everyone can afford the time, money, and effort it requires to build the 'perfect' car. if he does this right, it will be nice, and honestly will put it in the top 10-15% of all s13s out there. fuck, if it has no dents and clean paint it's in the top 20%...

that engine looks amazing though... i have never heard that of the greddy intakes... maybe the knockoffs break apart? i know there's plenty of 3rd party replica greddy intakes out there.

what do you drive? you have a penchant for negative comments about people's cars. i'm just curious what you have that is so fucking sweet to give you this mentality.

 

Its a RWD SR20DET, it has a Meizere Electric water pump and what you see is a block off plate. I just had to rebuild a already fully built SR so money is tight. I did put the stock bumper on and Im saving for coilovers so, give me some time and I will post updates. Thanks for the actual positive comments including the constructive criticism.

 

Any idea on numbers and how much boost you plan on running? Props for a clean ass motor.
