I think he said it is making something dumb like 400 and he is going to tweak a few things and hope for something around 500 or so. I might not be 100% right, but I know it makes really nice numbers.

Hoping to swap out this turbo you see for a GT35R and make it in the high 400s on pump gas

The rims on the picture with the kit are gone, if i put the kit on the car it will have the bronze sportmax's and car will be repainted. + coilovers, fender roll and pull hopefully

I think he meant the Air filter? because I can't figur out how the intake would go into the turbo...

uh... yeah. i'm dumb.

intake manifold is on the other side of the engine from the turbo. duh.

my attention to detail was sub-par on that one. for some reason i was thinking breaking apart and going into the head, i probably didn't even read turbo... and when i read 'intake' i wasn't thinking 'air filter'.

still, dumb on my part.

anyway, now that my retard moment has passed, i don't see how an air filter would break apart and suck up into the turbo though... maybe after years of neglect, but a filter is a filter, right?

Kinda depends on how you look at it. That fact that whether it's generic or not and that they serve the purpose of at least not letting a rock enter is true . As for filtering elements in themselves, longevity, and protection they serve long term is an entirely different argument in itself.

I typically use generic myself as I've never owned a car longer than 18 months, and none have fallen apart on me nor had ill effects.

BTW, as much as I like neither wheels the bronze does suit best. I'd get some 180 sides, and an OEM lip. Are there OEM rear spats of any sort you could buy?
