Porsche 911GT2 VS Corvette ZR1
a little bit of brake boosting would have probably evened up the second run from a roll.
Says that both cars do a 11.3 in the quarter with the ZR-1 being the one with the more mph.
GT2 being 200 lbs lighter and 100 hp less. Dont really see it. but maybe its in the gearing.

edit:... really not sure how they come up with they both run an 11.30 as the ZR-1 0-60 is done in 3.4 and the GT2 in 3.6.
The ZR-1 standing quarter mile is at 11.30 @ 131 and the GT2 is 11.3 @122. So they ZR-1 has a better 0-60 and more mph in the quarter but they run the same times?!?!?!?!?

When launching on a slick dusty surface, like they were testing on, the GT2 will take much less driver skill to get off the line fast since it has the sticker tires( pilot sport cups), launch control, and is rear engine. So it is not a suprise that the noob ZR1 driver got his ass handed to him on the launch by the GT2 driver on that surface. The other thing you have to remember is that the guy driving was a Brit so he was shifiting with the wrong hand. With the right launch technique, the ZR1, even on stock tires, can get off the line pretty well. I got it to pull a 1.75 60' time and a 11.05 ET.
