I am currently looking for a job, and i'm putting this on the forums in hopes that someone will know of a position that I haven't found yet

Looking for a IT/help desk/computer related job. Relocation is a must for me, so it doesn't really matter where the location is. My drawback is that I have no "official" expirence in the field that I can put on paper...just personal work that I have done.

I've been studying for my CompTIA A+ test, which i will take here shortly, along with several other credentials to follow.

I'm 24, clean background, drug free, dedicated and devoted to establishing a career for myself in the IT field.

As an IT guy myself, I am telling you now.. do not stick around long in help desk. Your career path will be extremely limited in that specialization. I do wish you luck in getting a job, its a hell of a time to try to get one... I have experienced friends job hunting for the same jobs with no luck.

 

I agree, but for most companies, the HD is your stepping stone. We do have people in our HD that have been doing it for 10+ years.
