I need to get a barrel of a rim fixed Asap.

If anyone knows a place that can do it please let me know.

Its a 19" 3 piece Volk. Looking to repair it rather then purchase another one that maybe in stock.

Have to get this done this week.

 

i went through wheel and rim repair, im not sure of the number but i know they are located right behind stock or modified in VB. they should, key word should, be able to fix it. the only thing i would worry about would be the fact that its chrome but its def. worth giving them a shout.

Yet i heard mixed reviews.

 

one of my works had a bend in the barrel and they fixed it for 90. they also repaired a gash in the wheel i didnt even ask to have repaired. then offered to mount it when i came to pick up. awesome guys over there gary.

 

Don't go to wheel and rim repair.

They did a HORRIBLE job, and it took 7, yes SEVEN FUCKING VISITS to fix the issue.

they also destroyed a tire (ripped a bead and did not tell me)

 

lol you are the ONLY one ive ever heard say something about them chris. i mean if it happened it happened but i had a great experience with them. and they also dismounted and remounted my tire (215-40) back on my 9" wheel with no problem

 

It's just how shit works sometimes.

I went there because i heard of nothing but great reviews.

They welded a crack in a wheel and left an ungodly goop of weld slag everywhere the first time. Another time the wheel had a pinhole where they did some grinding, then I had to take it back another time because they bent the wheel in another spot with their jaws of fucking life.

Guess my luck just blows.

 

god damn. yeah cuz brandon took one of his volks that were on the s14 back in the day to them because of a previous botched repair weld job (not by them) and they made it look almost new. this was back when they were over in norfolk in the mrd building. maybe they just didnt like you.

i repair wheels.....i cant fix what you are asking for.....and i will tell you it will be hard for ANYBODY to repair a chromed lip. simply because if it is actually CHROME....the damage would have to be repaired and then it would have to be RE-chromed.

and with that being said....good luck finding somebody. i run from chrome!

somebody may be able to make it look ALMOST perfect. but I have no idea who, you'll have to search around.
the best around that i have found is Prince Wheel Services, but they are in Monroe, NC.
so you'd have to mail the rim to them. probably about a 4 or 5 day turn around time.
