So I'm looking to take some swim lessons. I can swim, but I'm looking for lessons to work on my technique so that I can swim competitively. Some friends of mine and I are going to try some triahlons next year.

Anyone know of any place around here that offers lessons? I'm a member at the RAC/BAC but every time I ask them, nobody can seem to give me any more information on it.

 

Possibly The Edge?Not sure if they deal with any swimming stuff though.

If you were closer I could coach you. Check out Masters swimming in va, you can just google it, and that will give you info on locations near you, and price.

 

Thanks. I'll look for that. I know there's a place a few blocks from me where they do the high school swim meets, but last time I heard they only offered coaching for high school students...

 

yep, just look up masters swimming, and thats a good place to start if your older like me

 

I think that place that sells nitrous in roanoke has swim lessons in the back.
