i got a d16a6 and it has a dpfi fuel injection(2 injectors) in it. last owner swapped it in.

car starts up fine but when you start stepping on the gas it will slowing go (bogs and it wants to go but wont go) until you hit 2500 then the car will start moving and drives normal

also when you launch the car at any rpm. it will catch traction just a slight second and then car starts idling down (rpm gauge goes down back to 1k) and wont want to go but goes slowly moves.

 

you need to do a MPFI for the A6. it wont run properly without it

Why won't a D16A6 run properly with a DPFI setup? Its the same fucking motor as any other D15...

my thoughts exactly. i have put d16y7 in an 89 civic and it ran great. as long as everything is hooked up correctly it would run fine. was the timing belt removed/replaced/adjusted in this motor at all?

 

the only effort you should put into a D series is pulling it out.
