Yup, and yup.

I feel you have no experience without power steering. Once you've gotten rolling there is hardly any difference. Sure, pulling into a parking spot my take some extra effort, but thats what those big Johnny Bravo arms are for.

You're right... I have zero experience on track w/o PS. I don't want to go to the trouble of ditching the PS this winter only to waste money and regret it.

You're missing the point... I'm trying to gather input to make an educated decision. I'm in favor of ditching the PS becuase it'll mean less equipment on the car and in my head I believe I will like the steering feel. It's just that the majority of the feedback I've gotten says to keep it and try and reduce the boost level.
