So i just finished doing my swap a d16y8 into my eg hatch. Everything is good. Car tuns but wont start and cant seem to figure it out. I changed the dizzy,alternator and injector all from my old motor(obd1). Im allso useing a po6 ecu because still didnt get my p28. Dont know what i did wrong any help would be great. thanks

 

do you have fuel and spark? check that first

 

+1 and if you do have spark and fuel, try moving the dizzy in the opposite direction like forwards or backwards your timing could be off

 

I have a chipped OBD1 ECU with a Y8 base map.

 

Does the dizzy have anything to do with my porb. Some people tell me i would need a vtec Dizzy?

 

cant say for sure if Y7 and Y8 dizzys have different PN.

I also have a Y8 dizzy
