No....The factory injectors and turbo are only good for 270ish to the wheels MAX....i have been following KPR and some other hyundai shops tune this thing and there all going with new turbo's and fuel systems....sorry but, it isnt that easy at all.
Its all in what you want out of a car. The Genesis coupe isnt as fast as a 370z. It also doesnt handle as well. But for 99% of the people on that site, they wont be able to drive the car to its potential ANYWAY, so it doesnt matter. For a daily driver, even a 270whp car is plenty. Injectors take no time at all to swap out, and Im sure that you can make 300whp on the stock turbo if you're willing to push it out of its efficiency range. I mean they're making over 300whp on the stock SRT4 turbo, which is about the size of a k03.
since when is upgrading some injectors and turbo this big mindblowing thing?
people have bin doing it for years.
But like i said, if you care about a warranty then....its not for you, if you dont, then go for it. When i look at a new car, i also look at that warranty, you never know with cars, especially a Hyundai so....i would want a warranty. So, its worth it to me to have piece of mind and power without sacrificing either.
Also, i assumed you guys would understand there is tuning involved, a accessport like tool for this car is going for like $600...and that's just to re map the factory ecu. There is more to it than crankin the boost...oh, and the stock turbo is already pushed...i think its at 15 psi stock?....The turbo holds the car back more so than the fuel delivery.

People have been doing this with SRT4's since they came out. They also run 14psi from the factory. You put in a spring on the wastegate or a boost controller, fool the factory ECU, and put a diode in line to fool the ECU for timing so you can get more timing. You dont HAVE to put a $11ty tuner on the car to make it work. Hell you can probably get 300whp on that car for less than $1500 if you're willing to, I dont know, MODIFY SOMETHING instead of just bolting on parts.
