I'd also like to say that there are "600's" out there that would probably do some damage to a 1000, but really don't see much point in most 600's trying to race 1000. However, like Grom said, you start picking races with 1000's on a forum, and you can't start backpedaling when others start making fun of you, which is most certainly what Tim is doing. Tim makes fun of everyone though, even himself, so don't take it to heart.
My view is that at the end of the day people will be faster than me whether on similar bikes, or completely different ones in straight lines and backroads, and I'm okay with that. I realize I'm a mortal, and I'm not a huge risk taker, and my bike isn't God's gift to the two wheeled world, so I usually make a lot of attempts to have as much fun as possible well within my bike's limitations, the conditions limitations, and my own limitations. If someone I'm out with is faster than me, or better than me kudos to them. I'll chase them, or catch up with them when I can while we're riding. I'll show love and we'll tell stories over drinks later.

Im out and about alot. Sorry I dont have time to setup a race with someone who "in theory" should jump out on me with his modded bike and his riding skill, as opposed to someone with a stock 600 and 2~ months of riding skill. But like I said im down. I woulda been out friday with yall; but I had plans already. Im sure well meet up at somepoint in the near future.

Yeah I was about to call him out on the first 11 pages of shit talking, and then the back pedaling that ensued. Honestly stock, you talk and that is fine, I am not quite sure any one us is bothered by shit talking but when you do lose you need to man up and say "I lost, good job" and that's it, ends the discussion itself. Going back and saying other things or making excuses only gives the other fella's on this board the ammunition they need to make this thread considered for SPO.

So I have a 1000cc bike, but I only have the left side of the engine installed currently. Who wants to race, I think I can beat you el negro from the dig. You see by only installing half the engine I get the same power since we are running in series and not parallel it just is only good for shorter bursts. Plus I just washed and waxed it so I decreased its aerodynamic drag and weight.

I think what everyone is referencing is the talking that happened before the race, and the pedaling that happened after. I am not saying this to make you feel like a douche nozzle or put you down I am just informing you. The other members of the board are not randomly pulling things out of the air, well some of them are, but most of the members considered a thread to be one linear conversation with little observance of the time stamp so what you say on page one can and will be used against you on page twenty two if it applies and you have not indicated a change of feeling or claim that is always what you said when other material is quotable.
