I have an E46 M3 that needs a complete paint job done. As we all know, if money is an issue, then the dealership is not an option. However, it's hard to know if the shop that's going to be painting your car is going to do a good job for a lower price than the dealership. This is why I come to you all.

I need this shop to be reputable, capable to match the BMW paint code, and not have to worry about pealing, streaking, cracking etc..

So, what do you guys got for me?

lol..you pay what you get for..if you are not expecting to pay much dont expect a factory paint job...the best place around my area is D&V autobody..they work on high end cars like ferrari to every day cars like hondas..they do an amazing job..

I'm surprised you consider OEM paint jobs as what body shops should try to match. Unless your doing a spot repair, a good paint job will be several times better than an OEM paint job.

 

even then..i still wouldnt say factory paint job quality is cheap

 

Bringing this back up because I need a front bumper painted. I am not looking for "the best" but "average priced" shop or person within that field who can do this for me. I am sure there are others out there who can do the job. This is a bumper for an 02 Altima. So anyone else besides Maaco ?
