any shops that make rear seat delete kits
skanks.
that is all.
it had to be redone since you did it. wasnt milled properly first time, and when it was ported all the guides were damaged and not replaced
davis machine redid it. head now seats properly and doesnt smoke due to guides.
but yes, do plan on dynoing after i get scott to tune it for me.

You're head was milled incorrectly by another machine shop, because it was confused with another head, and overmilled it from what I've heard. Sorry for that on behalf of the shop(even though it wasn't done here) P.S we use Paul to mill all of our heads, so good choice on who to go to.
We are in the middle of getting our own milling machine and porting machine, to make sure mistakes like this aren't made.
You paid $350 to match port the head to a gasket?
(P.S we charge $1000, to port, glass bead, hot tank and replace the valve guides)
Correct? How would knicking the guides cause them to smoke, I would assume that it needed guides and Dan was trying to save you some money.
And lastly, if you would have said anything about this to Dan, I am 110% sure he would of fixed it free of charge.
Shuetuned FTW!

Just want to add. That this was not done at our shop. This was done when Dan was working for himself.

Dan personally told me your head was confused with another at a machine shop. Dan personally told me you paid him $350. Dan went on a Sunday to help you degree your cams in, also personally told me.
Oh I'm not saying your knocking him, just my opinion. You have the option to go to who you want. Your car.
Sorry for your misfortune, hope it doesn't continue...
I never said you were knocking AA. I was clarifying for anybody that would for some reason think that, since Dan is the lead tech @ AA.

and courtney...you better come see me.
ok , so i take all blame , regardless of price, job is to be done right, which i was not notified that there was ever a problem , tho not linked to port job , just not replacing guides , till just recently- on this post , no blame was pushed my way by way of 8urcivic, regardless , if given the chance , even for prices charged ,( agreed by poster) i am sure i could have made all parties involved- happy with the outcome , and again , I am about to invest in a cnc porting machine , post to be made soon! and a milling machine , so all will be done " in house" - sorry for such a long sentence ,breath- lol
He would, knowing him lol.

Come down and put it on the dyno after you get it tuned! Let's see how good Scott is.
