So i wake up this morning and go to start my BMW and as im walking over to it i realize its damn near sitting lower then normal. I see that my tires are flat and upon closer inspecting see that the rear tires have huge gashes in them. Someone tells me to check my rx7 to make sure it hasnt been fucked with, i take the car cover off it and see that the front right tire has a gash in it as well and right where the gash is the rim is fucked up. Im filing a police report but from what i heard thats gonna be almost useless. Does anyone have any idea on wether or not home owners insurance would cover this type of thing (i will be calling but im just asking for now) ?




and before anyone replys back with umadbro or ufoamin , yea i am....

 

vandalism should be covered by your auto insurance. and since there is no way to tell who did it i believe you only pay like $250 for a deductible

Had this happen to the gf's z28. All 4 tires slashed, we know who did it, but can't do anything about it because we can't prove it. Police report did nothing but put it on paper. Car insurance covered it, but with a $500 deductible, it only left a few hundred for insurance to cover. File the police report, call your insurance, wait for them to take care of it, and try to relax and not kill anyone in the mean time.

Yea, im gonna go with its just stupid kids, i dont have problems with anyone around here.

 

I would be so mad. I had someone egg my car once i cant imagine a tire. Its the one guy code you dont mess with never fuck with someone elses car. Hope everything works out for you. Homeowners should cover it if your in your own apartment complex.

 

*Update* So i called in and filed a police report, apparently I'm not the only one having issues with this around here, a truck in the area was apparently egged and had its tires slashed the same night. I haven't called to find out about home owners insurance yet but i will be getting to that soon. Fortunately i have calmed down about the situation, right after posting this initially i was checking the classifieds section for a gun :-/
