how about bolding the page #'s on forums that contain new posts at the top and bottom of the screen?

i.e. hop on the classifieds forum and see that pages 1-6 are bold and thus that they contain new/updated posts so you can know how much new stuff there is to go thru.

have to alter the current page # to be italicized or do it the other way around... or alter the color of the page #'s containing new threads.

 

I don't think it would work because vBulletin uses the same page navigation for threads as well as forums. Threads are backwards from forums i.e. the unread stuff is at the end whereas with the forums its at the front.

You'll just have to live with the bold titles of threads with new posts for now and think of it as a little surprise … is it 1 page of threads with new posts or 20? Only one way to find out!

 

2 to 4 bumps within 24 hours a on a current for sale thread being that they only stay on the new posts only for a short amount of time.

 

how about infractions drop off after a year, so if you have a few built up over almost 10 years, you dont get banned?

New posts is based on the user, not the forum itself.

Four is a bit excessive in one day.

 

can we have something set-up to give people infractions after a twenty-four period for not reporting that their threads have closed, it sucks to read thru 30 pages in any section of the classifieds and see " sold, close thread" on damn near every post, but not have the thread closed

i report them closed on an hourly basis because i get tired of it

better yet give me the ability to close the thread and life will be easy for everyone

 

review older rep? that way people that gave postive and negative rep can get theirs, from forver ago?
