Yeah .... well ... was. Stock forged bottom end. Lost compression in 2 cylinders.

 

13.5759 @ 53.60 to my 22.04 @ 48.6 to be exact.

So did you ever get the motor/turbo setup operating correctly? I figured you were making way more than 700s... I thought it was a 1k rwhp build, no?

 

its running low boost right now(18psi) the kits designed for 30+. So there is definitely a lot more power to come when he turns it up

 

Ya, I still think there is an issue. I think I may need some stronger valve springs. At 17-18#'s and pump gas, many poeple with stock motors and this turbo kit are making mid 700"s, so I feel like I should be near 800 on pump. My dyno graph levels off at 5k rpm. Onc I get the tranny back in and the track season is over, I will prob. be putting new springs in.

 

12.63 @ 111. the power is obviously lower than i thought, gotta get it on a dyno and find out what the problem is. probably too soft a tune and maybe not seeing much boost at all.
