Bunny Man Bridge...
So those of you that grew up in Fairfax County or have lived here long enough, I am sure you've heard of the legend of the 'Bunny Man' and the story about 'Bunny Man Bridge' (actually a tunnel) in Clifton during Halloween night.
I've been there before with some friends, but never on Halloween night so my question is, has anyone ever actually been there during Halloween night? I heard that Fairfax County Police will actually block off that section of Colchester Road on both sides before the tunnel, is this true? Do they block it off only on Halloween night specifically because of the story that revolves around the bridge during Halloween? Or do they block it off because its private property and they use that as an excuse so that no one is there 'trespassing' during Halloween night?
If they do block off the road does anyone know what time they set up the road block? How close is the road block is to the tunnel? I mean that road is the only road that leads in and out of the neighborhood, so what if someone needs to leave or is coming home? Do they get to drive through or will they have to be 'escorted' through?
I ask because a couple of friends and I wanted to go Halloween night (maybe we can set up a vadriven group for those that live close by) and check it out. Can you bypass the road block by simply walking around it to get to the tunnel? If so, does Fairfax County actually 'patrol' the road back and forth or do they just simply set up a stationary road block on both ends of the tennel? I really want to check it out, but not at the expense of getting in trouble or possibly arrested for trespassing on private property, hence all the questions and planning.
Edit: Those of you that don't know the story you can read about it here.

They do not block it off.. They do however usually post a cop or two there not because its privet property, however if you step off the road to either sides you are in someones front yard. They don't want people doing stupid things like put blood on the bridge or w.e..
Anywhere down in clifton if you get out of your car and walk around is bound to creep you out, no reason to go asking for trouble with the police at bunny man bridge.

Yes they post police there on halloween and shut the road down to anyone but residents. How do I know this? Because they do it randomly on other nights too and arrest people under 18 for being out past curfew at bunny man.
i tried to do a photoshoot one day under the bunnyman bridge

after you go thru the bridge theres like maybe a quarter mile of road left before you see gates for some ballin cribs. i think one of them had a helicopter, nice people, one person drove past me taking pics and waved at me.
