This is how i look at it, how much is you head/life worth?
i always recommend buying what is in your budget that meets all the necessary requirements ie, d.o.t. and at least sa2005

Not at all, I understand that helmets, cages, etc all improve safety, and I know my car is not some kind of impenetrable force field. I'm just saying that my car is safe to begin with, and is not a ford fiesta or something.
