Honestly, I don't think I can afford a lawyer. I mean if I really wanted to I could. But that'd really put me in the hole. I mean if I have to, I'll appeal it and have a lawyer take care of it for me. I'll get a lawyers advice before, to add with taking a drivers improvement class. I know many people that have gone without lawyers on reckless tickets. But I want to have the best chance without having a lawyer.
Like I again, I don't have court till the end of January and what I had was what I put together while sitting on the shitter distracted from studying for exams.

Go to traffic court and just watch other people, you'll get a good feel for what works and what doesn't. I'm willing to bet you're entire 'statement' will change.

This is a Class 1 Misdemeanor. You can get an appointed attorney if you're poor. Get it in circuit though. One thing a lot of people seem not to realize - if you lose, you pay for that appointed attorney.
Whatever you do, don't get a jury trial in Circuit. From what I hear, these people here will put you in jail.
Did you admit guilt to the cop during the stop? Better yet, how about you don't admit guilt on the internet?

.... There are lawyers that work just traffic stuff.... like fixaticket and stuff.... Cheaper than what you will pay for this ticket and insurance hike.... Your choice, Dont knock it till you try it.
