will a obd1 ls alternator work on a obd0 jdm b16 in a obd1 eg hatch
Ok my alternator is going out, the person i got the swap from had a sohc alternator rigged on it with spacers.
I have a obd1 ls alternator that plugs in and will bolt up but dont have the adjustment to make the ls belt or sohc belt fit
have been told to use washers on the bracket or to get a smaller belt
any suggestions? will the ls alternator work?
thanks

I think that's a drop-in replacement if you have an OBD1 car, if you get the proper belt for it. Get a del Sol or 99-00 Civic Si belt, either should be a perfect fit.
Can anyone verify this? I've been out of the Honda game for a long time.
