Guys that can barely afford authentic wheels but end up buying them anyways are usually the only ones to bitch about replicas.
The primary argument turned in to a question of quality, strength, and usage.
Thats a different argument entirely... Obviously like anything, quality costs money... You get what you pay for... Said argument could be put towards anything... I get shit on b/c I have an ebay turbo (which mind you I will replace (I didn't put it there in the first place)), but I'd much rather have a HKS or Greddy... Somethin I know is quality, reliable and isn't gonna blow a seal when I dog it on the track... But then again, boost is boost right?
