1984 datsun s12 200sx drift build
i need i/c piping too. might just cut up a bunch of used shit and get it welded together when i find a friend who can aluminum weld
heres some more progress
welded 2 sockets to my tension rod brackets, or whatever there called

and the rubbers on the end of the koyos fits the husky 11/16's socket good

rad sits a 1/2 inch higher, clearence on the hood is close. might have to clut some of the support out here

no modification of bumper support or anything. feels good. might get someone to weld me up some tubing to replace the crash bar for air flow. but for now this will work

my ghetto hood latch

I love this build...
PS... When is the next driftwater event... I got my clutch in today... I'm ready for some track time...

What size are your outlets on the intercooler?
As far as piping goes, if you're going to cut and weld stuff the ebay piping is SUPER thin and retardedly hard/basically impossible to weld. I know you didn't mention using it, I just wanted to give you a heads up.
Edit - Talk to Ramey since he is a dealer for them. Vibrant should make the 90 degree elbows you could use. Obviously wait for your motor to be in and be sure of the exact angle you'll need.

i have to measure the outlets, and thanks for the ebay heads up. ill be looking around
all of my stuff is mostly used/random
alooot of people told me my intercooler is massive, is that gonna be a problem?
im dropping in the sr20, its a given confirmation now. the only mods for now is the RAS, a clutch im buying, the gt2860r turbo i have, and stock boost for now
regardless i paid like nothing for that xs power i/c.. i can always get a smaller one if i need it. but im using it for mock up to make this swap go easy
Most people run massively oversized intercoolers on SR20s....so you'll be fine.
If you can pick up a shorter one - like 6-10" tall instead of the 20" one you have - and it'll have a marginally faster spool time and less pressure drop.
When you say GT2860R....you mean you have a disco potato? Even if you mean you have a 'T28'/S15 turbo you'll need some larger injectors with piggy back if you plan on going over 8psi.
