Similar cars against each other.
I would say a 275/60/ for the domestics on 15inch wheels. if were talking about a 17 inch or bigger than no size limit, I think the biggest one any of us can fit would be a 315/35/17. On mine i have a 275/40/17 since i cant fit anything bigger.

Yes DOT drag radials will be allowed for both sides. I do agree with you on the classes, but I dont think we can do any classes in this deal, The only way it will work if its run what you brung kinda thing. More like a street race then anything. There are way to many rules that would be associated with different classes. All though i would like to see somewhat equal cars being pared up together, but in the end it still will be a average of times put together. If anyone thinks of a better way to do this i am all ears

ether way i would like to come to this and make some exhibition passes if its deemed im not allowed to race cars im to much of a "race car"
Of course you are more then welcome to show up, as long as you can make the drive there, and your car is deemed a street car by the majority if you want your times to count. If you cant find any radials to borrow you are also more then welcome to make some passes with us if you decide to trailer it there on slicks!

I just cant say it would be ok for you to run slicks and not the domestics. It opens up another can of worms, then i could enter my own streetable race car. Im sure you understand that. I am trying to keep it were you run the same way as you ride on the street. For the cars that are driven back and forth during the week, not trailer queens on either side, civics, 240's, supras, or any domestic.

Edit... We have not set a date yet. I want to get a full field first so everyone can agree on a good date. I would like it to be sometime around April/May if that works for everyone.

x2 a honda on a radial is a huge disadvantage?

That is the main reason most hondas always wanna race from a roll the reality is the v8's are much better from a dig especially on a street tire its gearing, torque and tire.. But catch a very high hp honda on 95 and its almost always a wrap..

how so what defines a street car? my car has glass full interior and until a few weeks ago a working radio, all the power mirrors and windows work all the power locks work, what makes it not a street car?

Your right and wrong, I would love nothing more then for everyone to meet up on a interstate some were and get it on, But we all know that is not going to happen. If slicks were allowed for imports then they would also be allowed for domestics. How would you guys feel about that? and it would also have to be the majority that agrees on both sides before i would even consider it.

Thats cool, i thought it was gutted. we are trying to set up a street race at a track, so if you can drive it from hampton roads with us to the track, and race it without changing anything, go for it. In my opinion, slicks and race gas are not used on a real street car.
