these are the people that have more money than smarts. Hawk pad, Brembo blanks, a good brake fluid, and SS lines is a good setup imo, most people will not "over drive" their stock brakes, so drilled and slotted rotors with a beefy cailper setup is not needed. pair the above mentioned with a sticky tire, and you will get your moneys worth, and use the saved money to pay for track/seat time
but you are 100% true. buy better tires before upgrading brakes
