Yup pretty basic physics. It baffles me that people still get upset about this.

eddie. i love you.

same with you crazyleggs. but seriously, anyone who is smart knows you guys are trying to prey on the weak with this race setup.

take away the money bet or whatever you got so you dont potentially lose anything but maybe a "verbal shit talk bet" and who knows after on the way home maybe get some highway runs on the interstate, radial'd moostangs vs street tire civics. since you want to prey on the weak, and since that was the original arguement.

I want everyone to run, i dont give a shit about it being fair. You FWD guys made that choice when you built the cars. just as we made the choice of having fat pigs. Its the way it is. im tired of arguing about it. The street car rules are simple, drive it, run it the way you drive it. there done unless someone has something constructive to add without bitching about it. Want to make a set of race rules, those are simple to, pay your entry fee at the gate, run whatever tire you want. Simple set of rules!! but i dont want to here no dam bitching about the cars you imports will be racing against!
Lets make a new list for that.
Me.. 98 cobra-440inch sbf- supercharged auto

Someone said not to be scared of mm, Yeh you better be scared, The man took out richmonds honda hero in a SUV.HAHA!!!!!! (Much love marcus) Sure his car runs in the 8s on 17s. Thats a fast ass street car, the fastest one i know of anywere around here. Its not my fault you boys cant run those numbers even on slicks. My car just went a 9.69@156.9 on a 275/40/17 with a 6 speed 1.94 60ft, 1 hour after i drove it to Zmax in NC on a 102deg day. What you think its going to run on a 275/60/15 with maybe 150+ more horsepower than what it did then?!?! ( if it dont break)
Yes you import guys have your work cut out for you, i understand if you dont want to get your feelings hurt. But with all the shit talking from both sides, it needs to be settled. Im begging someone to get off the bench with a import and shut me up! Im willing to give 500 out my pocket to someone that can. Your race car races mine, or your real street car races mine. take your pick!

And before anyone says any shit about it. by the hotrod tour that takes place every year. My race car by there rules is 100% legal to race in it. also the same rules marcus wanted, Glass, tags, lights, your good to go!

Edit.. Nagger, this post was not intended toward you. just in general for everyone.

understood brother, why i love you guys just as much as the honda guys.

and the MM post, someone originally made the comment for the import guys to not be scared of him, and someone responded sarcasticly saying fuck that we are always scared of MM, i think you took that wrong. lol anyone who knows that car is scared of it on the import side trust me. lol

and like i said, unless i get a car that can be borrowed, i wont be racing at all just spectacting and pit crewing. i just think that if shit talk is all that started this and what is the ultimate prize of it, i think it should be fair.

and i agree completely, run what you brung and we build what we want, hence why i said size of motor doesnt matter. etc etc.

Probably be the only guy there on all seasons too.

I do think the FWD guys should be allowed slicks though...assuming the rest of the car meets the requirements. 99% of street races out there are from a roll anyway.
Agreed, someone talk the track into letting us go from a 40 roll out the burnout box and im all for it

and marcus's car was never really all that fast???? he just had alot of following because it was stolen rebuilt all that bullshit that doesnt matter in drag racing. sorry to hear cool story bro type shit.

no disrespect marcus.

but marcus's car is a run of the mill street car. nothing i think he EVEN (or i knew about) him bragging about being any kind of fast. if im wrong then woah.... i really should have kept the coupe around.

haha...I wont need the roll or slicks....but slicks for FWD and street tires for RWD/AWD cars (regardless of origin) should be the rule.

I wanna see who shows up with the fastest car...not the car that has the best traction.

I mean...thats the contest correct? Who has the fastest car?

hell i trapped 125 mph on a 195 50 15 making a little over 400 hp. still ran a 13.1 haha

thats the type shit that we would watch the honda guys run all day on radials against the domestic guys.

aka a pointless reason of shit talking.
