Where are the heater controls? I see the gauges where the factory controls are supposed to be.

Richard, I know you are a cool guy, and you know what the first class is supposed to be for, why are you being difficult?

Just go out and clean up in class 2. Even though your car is a travesty with that Chevy motor in it! haha

It appears that adam and slowboost are suckering me into this. Anyone know what the cost of this rental is going to run?? I will be competing for the slowest domestic...lol.

07 Mustang GT manual with Brenspeed 93 Tune, C&L Racer CAI, Comp NSR Stage II cams, 4.10's, Delete Plates, BBK Longtubes and off road X pipe.

I will probably be the only guy without a power adder.

I VOTE FOR MIR.... Track is soooo much better!! We could also possibly get some of the Glen Burnie guys (read really f'ing fast street cars) out for this one if we do it up there... I'll post on LS1Tech if we do (assuming you guys want them to attend) to try and garner support from those guys. Novi 357 may also be able to attend if it's up there...

Rules on this are geared towards a bunch of BS. My car meets the rules of the class and the track safety equipment. The Fact that I choose not to drive 15k miles a year has nothing to do with this.

99% of the others wont be allowed to run once VMP knows the real deal. No 9 or 10 second car will be allowed to run without a cage. They will not be game for 10 or 20 unsafe cars on thier track. I know Brian and have heard the stance of VMP 2010, Good Luck.

I will save my stuff for the real import vs domestic races that will provide real heads up clsoe racing. Not illegal cars on the street and track.

With that being said I wish MightyMouse the best. He is the ONLY car I think can pass Tech and be in single digits. Good Luck David!

Mikey, Your yellow car is full of intercooler piping, wheelie bars, and weight reduction. If I had your orange car driveline in my yellow car there would be NO differance in them other than a radio and roll cage. Try again.
I thought it would be one of the import guys that would be all butt hurt over the rules. Mike went to the effort of making two classes so we could stick to the original intent of this event and include the people whose cars dont fit into the spirit of it. Yes your car drives on the street but it is not a driver,it's a weekend toy. You want to go get in a class against driver cars even though class two was made for your setup. Most of the class one cars will still have all the factory stuff in the car, for example, my cars has heat,a/c,ABS,two airbags, power windows, a full stereo and every other thing that was on the car the day it came off dealers lot. You are just makin yourself sound like a kid complaining about these rules. And as far as all this safety talk bs...... the racing sanctions are way behind on the modern performance car as it doesnt take wheelstands and slicks and skinnies to run deep in the nines or eights anymore. Yeah I'll have a sixpoint in the car but I don't feel unsafe given the fact the car still has airbags and abs working. Just bring your car and run it in the class that it fits in given the intention of this event. Its already been said that 9.50's will be the game for class 1and you want to bring your 8 sec streetable racecar out to prove something to a bunch of STREET CARS.
