The interior's plastics were ATROCIOUS. Super hard and thin material used on just about every part of the interior. The shifter itself felt like the transmission was made of plastic, it was sloppy and flexible, and clunked like it would break if you even tried to shift hard. The buttons on the interior felt like they were going to break as soon as I touched him.
The car LOOKS amazing. I didnt drive it, so I cant comment on its handling/ride/power characteristics. But when it comes to actual build quality, its some o the worst I've seen on a newer car.
Im not saying you're wrong because everyone has their opinions. I test drove the I4t a few months back. It was a fantastic car. I have driven the new Civic, Sentra, TC, and Caliber. The interior on the Genesis was just as good if not better than the Civic and leaps and bounds better then all the rest. Aside from that. Go test drive one, it's feel great and handles very well. The only thing I didn't like was the fact it was an automatic. but that was all they had on the lot.
