and no arguing with you about what you've seen would be pointless since im sure you cant tell if a mustang is making 1000whp just by looking at it, your statement was irrelevant if your just talking about what you've seen but clearly you were talking about the general public hence the bold letters, therefore you were making an assumption like i said...

Sounds like either you don't get out much, or have no idea what you're looking at when you see it.

The 99/01 is hampered quite a bit in stock form verse a 03+ motor which is much stronger and fully forged.

I don't think you can get a stock 99/01 above 550-600.

It is a very nice turbo....

On a sidenote since you seem to be into DSM's pretty heavy...

What are some of the first real good performance mods you can do to a 2008 EVO without going into the engine internally??

My buddy just bought one and really don't know a whole lot but wants to get some added horsepower without doing anything internally or upgrading the turbo just yet..

I'm not familiar with EVO's he says the exhaust is already a 3" so i would think maybe getting rid of the cat with a test pipe and adding a boost controller.. How much can he turn the boost up in stock form without affecting the tune??

how much hp can you run on these with a stock motor and turbo?

thanks

i know what im lookin at and if you cant tell a 1000hp mustang from a stock mustang there is something wrong with you......im just up in winchester not in the city there are no 1000hp daily driven mustangs up here im almost positive there are no 1000hp street mustang up here at all actually......most of the cars up here are riced out by reject owners that think stupid ass stickers and every peice of autozone stick on chrome they can find will actually make their car faster or cooler.........sorry i dont get down to central va or closer to the city to see some of the nicer cars.......there are a few around here but not too many and since Brian Arbogast passed away there are only a few high horsepower hondas around here.
