Like I have said, my car has already had the recall done! It cannot be fixed for free, lol. The ignition switch has been ordered, and hopefully it works!!! Thanks turboquad, I have not worked on many hondas, as I own lots of vw's, and appreciate the help from you and everyone else who has posted I will update the thread after I put it in. Pretty simple right? Unplug the harness from the ignition, and replace the wiring from there to the fuse box? I tell you what, these cars are barely hondas anyways, lol, I pulled the cluster not too long ago and it said ford on it. apparently Honda collaborated with ford on this generation accord I guess! Pretty crazy, no wonder it is a headache

So I installed the ignition switch and everything seemed fine, until today, when it
shut off on me 3 times! And before you ask, I DEFINETLY installed it correctly. I do most of my own work and have done several ignition switches. SO, I am going to stop throwing money at it and drop it off at Hall Honda this evening to get it diagnosed. I hate paying someone to do something i can do myself! But I am sick of messing around with it, and would like to be using my daily driver, so I will bite the bullet and take it in.

So, any takers on what you think it is? I am thinking main relay

Update!

Just got it fixed at hall Honda, and it was the o2 sensor!!! They said in rare cases it can cause the car to shut off. So hopefully this thread helps someone with a similar problem. I am VERY surprised, as I have never heard of an o2 sensor causing the car to shut off, but it does happen, and I have drove it all day with no issues
