The roof panel definitely reminded me of original Viper RT immediately.

 

Corvette has always had a "double-bubble" roof, but not as pronounced as the GenII Viper. When the C5Z06 came out there was a post on the Corvetteforum where I guy was ranting that his brand new car had a dent in the roof. He went so far as to take pics of the car with a level laying on the roof... it was rather funny when people explained that it was a design feature.

 

Yep, I hope that's fixed. I always hated that because it looks like a hat.

 

Im sorry, but it looks wayy too much like the batmobile to be a handsome devil. Too many cues of the camaro (which although its growing on me, I do not think I will ever appreciate it's design)

It's not the GTR type roof (although I don't like that either). It's the sharp crease from the B pillar and pillar-to-roof lines that simply don't flow. It looks like the roof came off an entirely different car.

I like the car, as a whole it looks great, but that roof line sucks. What the fuck is so bad about A pillars? They give continuity and visual flow to the profile. This "thing" is visually striking, but that doesn't mean it looks good. A few years down the road that car will be remembered as the Corvette with the ugly roof.

 

i agree that they need to tweak the roofline and the front a little bit, but this thing definitely has major potential. i wonder how much powerzz it will have, and which different models will be offered.

 

i think the c6 z06 is the best looking corvette ever. minus the olderrrrrr gen's.

i think the zr1's are hideous. (wheels, hood, front fenders) aka everything diff from the c6 z06
