I sent you a PM to see if I could be of assistance. I've done 4 SR swaps, a couple KA-turbo setups, and now a turbo VH45DE swap. I'm in Bedford.
-JB- has good advice in using a full SR20DET engine harness. There are enough small differences between the KA and SR harness that will prevent your engine from running. For instance, the 4 coil-on-plugs and ignition ignitior on the SR requires 4 individual coil trigger wires from the ECU, while the KA only requires one.
Also, don't consider running an SR with a KA ECU. While the CAS and distributor signal wires may connect to the same ECU pins, the signal from the SR CAS is slightly different from the KA distributor - the 90-degree camshaft angle signal on the SR has varying pulsewidths to identify each individual cylinder's TDC.
