My bike is boss son, not cutting her up.

Thanks though boo<3

Metal sliders could easily catch the edge of something and cause the bike to flip when sliding, a soft plastic slider will wear away and limit friction.

I use Shogun.
That's what I was aiming for, just wasn't sure of which brand.

Would those fit on a first gen R6?

Most of the 'cheap-y' kits on ebay work great, if you drop the bike and scuff one up then they're cheap to replace. The no-cut versions aren't as strong but with then you won't need to drill a large hole in the fairing.

ebay no cut

ebay cut kit, no bolts included (home depot should have them if the stockers don't fit)

Shogun cut sliders

I'd probably just shell out the extra $40 for the no cuts. No sense in messing it up.

I agree with the no cuts, the Shogun no cuts are nice if you don't mind spending the extra amount.
Thankfully for my 04 R1 there is no cutting needed unlike the 07-08 R1.
