Where to get wheels powder coated?
I want to get my BBS's powder coated. What is a good place in the 757 to do it and if you work there what would be a quote on this? Turn around time? etc..
The search function is disabled so blow me search nazis if there are threads with answers already.

Precision Powder-coat, turn around could be two to three days depending on how busy they are but it's worth it. Cost me only $245.00 for mine.

Advanced Custom Coatings in Hampton. (757) 726-COAT.
They have done a few sets of wheels for me, great work, awesome turn around time, great prices.
They are about to do another set for me, too.

EG2SI - Those dark spots would get to me if I paid for the work. 245 isn't a bad deal though, just looks like they rushed putting the powder on.
I got tired of paying for coating. I picked up the stuff to do it in the garage and it costs 8 bucks to do 3-4 valve covers...100 bucks for someone else to do it. Of course I haven't used it in 5 years, until this morning.
A valve cover I did today, mainly just to see how the off white would turn out.

I dropped off two pieces of intake piping at American Stripping Co. in Norfolk last week, should have the piping back either today or tomorrow. I was quoted $125 for the two pieces of pipe, but they said the majority of the cost was in having to remove the flaking chrome finish off (said chrome is a bitch to remove). The price seemed a bit high, so I'll see how things turn out. Here's their website, lots of good looking work on there:

I've had wheels powder coated at Precision, they do great work as well. They did a set of four 18" Racing Harts for me for $50/ea, a set of four calipers for $25/ea, and some exhaust coating for around $50 or so. I think I'll have them do any work I might have in the future, almost wish I'd just taken the intake piping there from the start.

Precision did mine aswell $85 a Wheel for 18x9.5's in Candy Rasberry.
Got my intake piping back from ASCO in Norfolk. It's good work, not great, probably wouldn't go back.
Precision did a much better job, a smoother finish. They probably would have done it for less than $135 too. Ah well, don't know 'til you try.
