When exactly is this going to happen and where? Don't have time to sift through 76 pages and the first page hints at the 16th of April. If I could throw my piss ant S2000 in the mix with the big boys, count me in! Don't know what it'll run or even if it will hold up to everyone else but it's worth a try.

How are people NOT getting this? 4/16 is a date it's NOT going to happen. And there is no date set yet.

Because it says the date that is out is apr 16. That can be interpreted both ways, of thats the planned date or date that is no good. not everyone looking at this talks to the guy who started this thread to know exactly what was going on.

I guess Shawn is planning to make the passes at the track for him.

But is that even allowed? And furthermore, why wouldnt someone wanna run their own car? If you dont have any drag racing experience, now's the time to get some. Seat time is fun, homie.

Are t-brakes and 2 steps allowed? Us slow as Domestics need all the help we can. Didnt see it wasnt but alot of people believe it makes you a race car. I have a overdrive so no th400 for me. Diesel tranny FTW.

Not allowing launch control would be stupid. Doesn't stop the car from being a street car.

I agree. My car is a bonafied daily driver, yet my anti-lag/two-step builds 11 psi of boost at the line for launches.

And as far as t-brakes go, Im pretty sure there's some street cars out there that have them. IMO, that shouldn't be a deciding factor for a street or race car.
