2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Dynoed
Oh please. I love all cars. This is the first Ford I have owned, and I used to stick with autoX in a WRX. I just can't stand ignorant comments about cars that aren't even out yet. I also love how people think a solid rear axle car can't handle, yet cars like the Cobalt SS lapped faster than a Lancer Evolution around the Nurburgring. Solid rear axle cars are very capable, you just can't have an idiot driving it. BTW, name calling is for high school. Grow up and then you can have a mature conversation with the big kids.
I think id still take a full griggs 2011 gt over a base model corvette. Just for the fact it would have a back seat and real trunk space. Plus corvettes are for old men anyway.

^^^ What he said. It has 2 supposed negatives working against it. It has poor weight distribution ala FWD and solid rear axle. However, GM showed that this is not as important as having a good driver and designing the suspension to work well with the solid axle setup. I think they consider solid rear axles in FWD cars "torsion beams" or something like that. It still has the same restrictions that a RWD solid axle car has.
You may want to mention that's the Evo 6 and 7 that the SS beat. Evo 9 (can't find anything on the Evo 8) beat the SS by 11 seconds.

There are many cars that the little FWD Cobalt beat. It was only 1 second away from the E46 M3.
