94 accord lx auto running problem
i just got a 94 accord lx automatic that had a blown motor so i swapped it now i runs great but it still has 1 problem that it had before i swapped it. which is when it gets warm it don't want to idle and cuts off when you put it in gear or drive at low rpms. you have to hit the gas and brake when you go to stop lol...i thought it was the old motor being so weak it wouldn't stay running. it's weird though, if you start the car cold and let it idle it will idle all day until you give it gas then it starts to cut off? it's got me, it's throwing no check engine...and everything was swapped, intake manifold all sensors everything...anybody have any clue?

Re: 94 accord lx auto running problem
Sounds like it's not coming back down to idle properly, which is usually a problem with the idle air control valve. Look there first.
Don't adjust the idle screw until you've cleaned the IACV and checked a few other things. The idle adjustment should work pretty well in the stock setting if everything is working properly.
