Since when the hell is a 235 (soon to be 255) excessive and unusable? Last I checked, a 215 on a 7 inch wide wheel would be fucking stupid on a 500-600 whp car. You want to talk about function...well it seems to me that a wider tire would be EXACTLY what I want. Sure the car is a bit low right now but it will be coming up an inch or so so i can get an even wider tire on it (255 or so). The rear camber isnt crazy (barely in more than the factory spec) and the tires are BARELY stretched and will soon have the proper tire for the wheel width. You "og" (yeah fucking right) subaru people are a joke. Sorry I dont want to stick to the cookie cutter boring ass wrx that makes 200 hp and looks like 99% of the other stock wrxs out there.

Yeah, I could worded this a bit better, but I dont give a fuck, Im a bit annoyed right now anyway.
well, this summed up everything.

Flite, I have every intention of dropping the discussion so I'm not gonna waste my time responding to people questioning me, though I do feel compelled to address one specific statement: the one bolded in the post above mine.

You have aggressive fitment Rota Grids, which are the text book example of the cookie cutter styling that you claim to want to avoid. For the last 2 years they have been the most whored out wheel in the Subaru community. Any attempt at trying to play the "uniqueness" card is ridiculous. And oddly enough, most of the people running them are none-too-much over stage 2. I had someone once point how how much more bad ass his car was than mine slammed on crappy BC coilovers and with neon green Grids but otherwise stock.

This is all I have to say. I just felt the need to point out the irony.

The "aggressive" fitment guys of the subaru crowd make up a small portion of the community. Even if EVERY "aggressive" fitment guy ran Grids, they still wouldnt see them NEARLY as much as say...STI BBS', Factory WRX wheel, or some other small wheel. But this all is beside the point.

I bought them because they filled the wheel well...and im glad I went this direction because of the power the car will be making. Im not a fan of super stretch/poke/dumb camber and I didnt buy them to go that direction. A good friend (who recently made 612) said his car at 550+ was unmanagable with a small tire on it and since my car will be a street car (for a little at least) I cant be running around on slicks and Id rather not daily 4 DRs. A wide wheel/tire was the only other option.

I'd really like to know how much about suspension dynamcis Mr. brfatal is aware of to make broad generalizations on why your car isnt "functional".

The car is about an inch or so from being perfectly functional....its a bit low right now but as i stated, that will change. For whatever reason...a lot of Subaru people seem to think that a wide wheel = no function which is fucking stupid.

Then again alot of the Subaru people are fucking morons.

So keep doin' what you doin' Randy.

And I mean this nicely, 90% of STI owners are complete idiots. And whats kinda Ironic is, the 3 people with WRXs I know that have 'your' wheels are probably the more badass people I know. You, Natchez and Mike D.
And the wheels look good.
So dude man is dumb.

But this thread needs more power less wheel.
