Description:
- Body: Shell has ~200,000mi on it. Was painted about 2 years ago with single stage urethane. Has acquired some dents and nicks in that time but no rust. Floorpans are in great condition. Sunroof is solid and doesn't leak but the hatch seems to have a slow leak. Comes with 8k HID's (not installed). Trim could use a heat gun treatment. 35% Tint on back windows and hatch glass. Under the dash is gutted and car weights in at 2,180lbs. Autotech front sway bar and unknown rear sway. Stubby antenna and there is a dent in the hood near the hood latch (pictured). Comes with both a quad round setup and the squares.
- Motor: 1997 (OBD2) 2.8l 12v VR6 w/ 90,8**mi pulled from a Passat. Has aftermarket pulleys, GIAC chip, 2.9l clone polished intake mani, full MSD ignition, stock header, full Magnaflow 2.5in catless exhaust, mystery cam (somewhat aggressive), new crack pipe, new low-temp thermo, new oil coolant flange. No A/C or P/S.
- Trans: O2A out of same Passat. Lightweight flywheel and stock replacement clutch ~3,000mi ago. No grinds and shifts with ease. Needs a linkage piece that I currently have ghetto rigged but still works fine. $50 piece I may have replaced before sale/trade.
- Interior: Power Recarro's (not hooked up) in great shape with minimal bolster wear. Rear seats in decent shape. Rear is mostly gutted. Dash is in great shape and has a headlight switch from an MKIII... for some reason. Looks unassuming and works as it should. MKIII VR cluster with proper mileage. Door cards are in great shape. Plaid headliner and no radio.
- Suspension/Brakes: Bilstein coils all around. 10.1" Passat front brakes along with a (all new components) rear disc conversion. 5 lug conversion with MKIII BBS Bugatti's. Tires could be replaced but are still good. Car weighs nothing and with the upgraded stopping power it stops on a dime.
