Post pics of your ride!
A really popular mod among non-M cars (I should know cause I'm about to do it in the near future) is to buy a M clone bumper, you pretty much could never tell the difference because they're based on OEM parts. I love the E39 M5, it's in my top 5 of cars I have to own before I die, 69 Dodge Challenger, E30 M3, Toyota Supra, and a slantnose 911 are also in there.

I'm unfamiliar with GM, what all does it entail and what kind of output are we looking at? It's not really as much about it being cheap as it is about it being easy. There are ready made kits for a 1jz swap into E36, might be the same for the lsx but I've never heard of the swap.

If you've never heard of the swap then you probably have sex with men

So wait, in what way is this cheaper than a 1/2jz swap? A full 2jz kit with 6spd is 6500 and from what I can tell the stage 0 kit by itself costs 3500 without the engine and trans.
There are a few ready made kits, though you're better off to put together a "kit" yourself. The weight balance is better than with the s50/52 and you get more power. Easy to squeeze 3-330 out of a stockish engine. Tq to boot!!
I have a four banger and not an inline 6 so my weight distribution will be fucked up to begin with. I'd just be worried about putting my own kit together especially as this would be my first swap, I also don't want it to be outlandishly expensive. (would like to spend under 5k on parts if possible)

If you're going to do it then do it right the first time.
