Just getting it together. If you know how to build motors you might be able to help me build the future motor of the hatch which will be turbo with a t3/t4 or something. I haven't figured it all out but I have two sets of RX-7 injectors to f with.

Alright guys - Justin (1slow240) and I were talking about the location (Gosnold park). Apparently, there's not enough shade or seats to hold everyone. If we're gonna do a BBQ then we should choose a location that has the three "S"s - space, seats, and shade. I, sure has hell, don't want to be sweating my ass off while I'm talking cars and trying to eat.

I know for a fact that Newport News park has plenty of shade and seats but that might be too far for most. At the same time, I want people to notice us. Therefore, I suggest we pick a restaurant and take it from there.

I remember the BMW M3 guys booked a section of the parking lot at Quaker Steak and Lube in NN: http://www.thelube.com/NewportNews_VA/

I suggest we book a section of the Nascar joint in Hampton: http://maps.google.com/maps/place?hl...82903956906863

We can park our Nissans in front around 1200, BS and take pix for a couple of hours, then go inside and eat. After that I suppose we can setup a cruise drive to Virginia Beach or something.

Let me know what you guys think.

If you decide to do it at a restaurant then you will sacrifice shade. Especially at Quaker Steak. But you will get a lot of attention there.

Newport News park is still a great place IMO. It's a little farther up 64 but the entrance to the park is literally right off 64 = very easy to get to.
Oh And I believe at both of the restaurants you mentioned the parking lots are littered with speed bumps. My Z scrapes the Quaker steak bumps and it's not even that low...
