someone go buy this for $900 and bring it to me http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/cto/1817321321.html
Wow. I'll pay $2500 delivered to DC if anyone wants to go fetch that for me.
That's what I had, but I got tired of hauling ass, sliding and hitting curbs and breaking shit. I know it's mostly my fault, but honestly I just want something easy to use that I can drive on or off-road. Brushless electric will get rid of 99% of the issues I had with my nitro car and with gear and battery changes (lithium), it'll be faster too. I think honestly tinkering with it EVERYTIME I took it out took a lot of the fun out of it for me. It was a PITA for a beginner, IMO.
I'm far too stupid to operate one. I simply prefer the look because they're generally more accurate to real cars than off-roader RC trucks. I don't doubt for a moment that the cars are unfriendly for beginners and have a severe penalty for failure.
Definitely. The time and energy is takes to break the engines in and then finely tune them became a burden and wasn't really rewarding to me. I'd finally get it running, go out and drive around for ~5 minutes and it'd shut off 100ft away, so I had to go get it, figure out why it wouldn't run and so on and so forth.
I agree with you on the on-road cars, though. I love how badass they look. I just want something to bash with and those are not it. LOL
