NASA typically has some extra ones.

 

I would never go to a track event depending on someone else for my safety equipment. Go to Saferacer.com and by a G-force.

 

Adjusted my rear alignment (probably made it worse), new gas tank installed, new fuel filter also. Need to put my drive shaft and exhaust back on tomorrow, quick oil change and I should be ready. Hopefully I wont have any fuel leaks, we'll see.

 

Not sure if I'm going to have the silver car ready the rear suspension has been really fighting me, but I'm over the hump now.... we'll see. If it doesn't happen I'll be there for the UTCC on Friday, but will probably take a rain check on the Sat/Sun stuff and let my dad drive his car in HPDE3 as planned so we don't have to thrash both trying to drive the car.

 

Pretty sure my pile is ready. New tank is in, not leaking, and it runs so I guess it's a success. The rear alignment still scares me a little bit, but there's not much I can do about it at the moment. Hopefully it still feels the same as it did the last track event.

Oh, and I had a bent rim. I guess hitting a tire wall at 80+ will do that. Good thing they are cheap, so I have a new one on the way. Routine oil change, fluid check, and half ass nut/bolt check is done. Just need to wash it and put it on the trailer.

 

Well ..... im in officially and Becca is officially doing her first HyperDrive.


Played some iRacing at Jason Lisners today for a bit to kinda get the basic track line since ive never been.

What are you guys driving so I can find you. I'll be in a white EG Civic (red #32 on the doors) towed with a white Dodge pickup. Plan now is to tow down Fri from Lynchburg and set up, then catch the UTCC. You guys pit in any certain area?
