Ha ha!! I need a good tune as well and definitely a set of slicks before I can even think about it. Track night would be awesome... just wish we has a 1/4 mile around here though. I get into 3rd and then its over... my car doesn't even decently come to life until 3rd.

It does suck pretty bad.....My last setup has been catered more to an 1/8th mile because of that very problem. Its not running bad on the mail order tune I have but it needs the precision of a dyno tune before I go running the hell out of it at the track. I'm running the Nitto 555R's on mine and I've been very Impressed with them, by know means are they a slick but still yet I'm very happy with them.

Well I am due for tires but my dilemma is I love my stock GST rims and they don't make a drag radial in that size. All I can do is go with the stickiest thing I can find. I just hate to buy rims... I have had 4 different sets and I always go back to my stocks. I like the sleeper look. =)

Tire size is a 205/55/R16 and I can't find anything in a drag radial. Stickiest thing I have found is a Bridgestone RE760 Sport Potenza at $130 a piece.

How wide are the stock wheels?I'm sure you can go to a wider tire, although drag radials sizes are limted in 16" sizes.

Oh.I figured they were wider than that! What about a couple of 15s(if they fit)or 17s for the front for track use?You can buy a couple Brotas for next to nothing, and a couple drag radials, especially if 15s.....
I did have a set of 225 drag radials on a pair of 6" wheels at one point, but it was hella opposite of stretched.

I'm probably going to just try to find a set of rims I like... which is almost impossible. I like my stock look... everytime I have had rims on my car, half of Lynchburg tries to street race me. I guess it just gives it "the look"... I just want something that looks clean and not ricey.
