Was at a stop light and the light turned green. I went to about 5000 in first and shifted. When i shifted the car proceeding to second the car started running ruff and dropped down to 0 RPMS; seemed like if my spark plugs went bad or something. I turned the car off and tried to turn it back on and it attempted to start but was bogging again. Is it the plugs? The wires? Any suggestions would help. I just dont wanna go buy parts for no reason. I know Fabrik usually has alot to say so if your reading this lmk and anyone else who knows just post.

It is 5spd and there is MSD. Not installed by me...previous owner.

 

check your timing.

 

Sounds like a wire might have slipped off dizzy, or a sensor got un-plugged. Doesn't seem like something too serious.

Probably another MSD failure. They make high quality stuff for street cars.

alright so i replaced my dizzy and wires and plugs and still no fuckn start i smell fuel but now its like dying when trying to start it????? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Have you checked the coil yet? I'm serious, that MSD coil might have failed. That's not an uncommon thing to happen. You thought I was joking, didn't you...?
