Let me throw my 2 cents in here since everyone else already has. And before I start, I've got no ill feelings towards anyone, this is simply my opinion, and I'm sure others share the same one.
The video isn't a good representation of what you're trying to do. I said that in the other thread. And quite frankly, it makes Fredericksburg look like even bigger of a joke than it's become. Add that to the constant harassment that the cops keep dishing out, and this meet is going to fizzle out quickly. No, they can't come onto the church property and start writing tickets, but Gordon Rd. is fair game. Personally, I hope I get pulled when I leave on one of the rare occasions that I do come up there. They'll have a harassment/entrapment case to deal with. Just like the bullshit that went down at the 7-11 across the street a few weeks ago.

Well said! Once REV-X starts back up again, I'm going to take more footage and do another video. We actually now have the backing of the Sheriffs's Department, so I think that may ease some issues with that. However, if you peel out of onto Gordon Road, expect a ticket. PM me on what went down on 7-11, I still don't have the full details, if fact, I have very little details. Lastly, all it takes for something to come back to life is someone willing to fight for it.

Second. You had the backing of the Sheriff's Dept. before. Unfortunately, it was financial backing, coming out of the attendee's pockets. It's always been like that, and it always will. It's a simple matter of work smarter, not harder. Yes, if you do something dumb when you leave pulling onto Gordon Rd., you should get a ticket. If you're that dumb, you should get as many as possible.
However, if I ride past them with my windows up, not speeding, not spinning tires, and after using my turn signal, and they pull me over, I'm going to be a little pissed. Yes, my windows are too dark, and yes, I know I'm breaking the law, but them sitting there waiting for something that trivial is absolute bullshit. That's the issue at hand.
The 7-11 thing doesn't need to be PMed. It needs to be out in the open. So I'm going to, but I'm going to leave out names. And I'll only hit the highlights.
This happened after all the stuff went down at the church. Three friends of mine decided to go stop by and see who all was still out, not knowing anything about the events that happened that night. So, when they saw nobody there, they went to 7-11 (as they/we have done many nights when we've left the church).
So, as they're sitting there, out of the cars, with the cars turned off, the cops roll up. One of the first things one officer said to another was, "Write them all for exhaust."
Ummmm..... wtf? Vehicles not running getting exhaust tickets? How about vehicles with stock exhaust getting exhaust tickets? And yes, they really were stock exhausts. But you know, lowered Honda = aftermarket exhaust 100% of the time, right? Wrong.
A ton of other tickets went down, a total of 10 between 3 people. I wasn't there, but personally I wish I was. Either nobody would have gotten tickets, or I would have ended up in jail that night for running my mouth. I've had enough of the power trips.
I'm not saying you can't bring this town/scene back, but I'm just trying to give you a heads up that you're taking on a lot more than I think you realize. And I can't speak for anyone else but myself, but I'm not trying to scare anyone off.

I need to get a hold of them. I will do everything within my power to help them out, but I can't do that if I don't know who they are. I only know of one person who got a ticket and she paid before I could talk to her about it.

And I figured the comment wasn't for me, I was just letting you know that I don't have any hidden agenda for all this. I'm not trying to be all negative abuot it, just being realistic. I wish someone would prove me wrong. I'd offer to help, but I'll be honest with you, I'm at a point in my life where I need to focus on getting myself straight before I worry about hanging out in a parking lot.
But when I can make it out there, I will, and I'll promise you'll have no problems from me and anyone I bring. As I said, we've been around 10+ years for this stuff. Since the old Mobil days, and some of us since the days of Rose's.
