The cops came because of they said they were getting noise complaints... which i could see due to people in the silver diner doing burnouts and people that insist on entering and leaving the area like asshats.

 

Once off the property it has nothing to do with the meet. They can't shut down the meet because asshats drive stupid on the street in front of it. Or on property that doesn't belong to Love. What happens at silver Diner is irrelevant.

This meet didn't come to an end because of the cops, none of them did. I hate an asshole cop just as much as anyone else, but I can honestly say, being that I was the only one that dealt with them at chevron, they were more than lenient with all of you. thank them. Any person, although not engaged in a race as defined in 46.2-865, who aids or abets any such race, shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.

 

For someone to be aiding and abetting, there has to be a witnessed race. Can't just ticket people at chevron because they heard people left there and went and raced. Can't aid and abett something that can't be proved happen.

I'm not defending the way people were behaving leaving the lot, I'm just saying that once they leave the lot it's not love's responsibility what they do, and the meet shouldn't be held responsible.
