Dope Status!!
I mean, I get that, you're entitled to your own opinion and anybody can post what they want in Dope Status, but the majority of the cars in here focus more on the stance and appearance rather than the practicality of the car. Sure, a 280ZX with a mangled fender may not be everybody's favorite, but that guy more than likely did that to his car because he liked it, not because he was trying to impress anyone. He liked it, and the guy who photographed it liked it, and morbid posted it because he liked it, and I'm writing this because I like it.
And if that whole aspect of stance/stretched tires/negative camber rubs you the wrong way, Uzi did recently make the Super Performance Thread.

yepyep, I just read the whole article on it, and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. He didn't have loads of money to dump into restoring it so it would rot in a garage, he did what he wanted with what he could manage, and I can only hope to achieve the same thing with my car.
Any computer people or old people might enjoy. DOS style website for navigation.

All of these "stance" trends are typical one-up-manship by doing the most absurd things to cars. Nobody wants to drive around in a car with massive body damage, or slowly eaten away by rust.
And he's correct, Ladas were awful cars.
compared to the trash you post?
