Seeing friends and family daily while recovering DEFINITELY helps. I think its awesome you guys are pulling together for him. I hope he sees a speedy recovery with no lasting effects. Ill definitely keep him in my prayers although I don't personally know him.

 

Update...

temp went up over night/this morning so they turned the cooling blanket back on. Since then its gone down again. Oxygen level is down. They want to do a lung biopsy. He's on steroids & antibiotics. Started insulin drip because of steroids. Steroids cause sugar levels to rise. He may have a shocked lung. They did a bunch of tests yesterday to try and figure out what's going on.

 

I saw Miguel's post on facebook but didn't recognize him by his last name, but I recognize him by his car. Have hung with him quite a few times at different meets and such. Hoping for the best for him and his family.

i hope he is lucky and has some sort of insurance, if not his bill is going to be worse than mine

 

once again, been there, done that. Catastrophic cap. If he has been in a medically induced coma for this period of time, he has reached it/surpassed it.
