66x vw bug
So if I tripped and accidentally smashed my face into some1's aftermarket spoiler they're liable for it? I think not man. It would be my dumb ass fault. I disagree. And I would ride that shit to court if anyone wanted to... If anything it would keep me from catching fuckers leanin on my shit like its cool when I walk out of the supermarket... Yes its happened to me.
odds are nothing will probably ever happen considering the fact this probably isn't your daily and is a "show" car. but the danger is there.

its your property, and you're are liable for the consequences of your property injuring someone. basically what you're saying is i can put barbwire on my car and if someone gets mangled in it, it's their fault? what if a your child isn't looking and walks into the fucking spikes on the side of your car running around.

yes it would be their fault. If u trip into a fire hydrant u gonna sue the city? Probly not gonna happen. And if some1s kid is running around and gets hurt.then maybe their dumb ass parents should teach theyre ass some disciplin when it comes to playing around other ppls shit. This is a stupid arguement . Im done talkin about it. I didnt start a thread to come under fire. Just as I thought HR is full of disrespectful close minded fucks that can barely appreciate any1elses werk. Let me ask u something. When was the last time built a car from the ground up? Its my shit and im gonna do it my way.fuck ever1 else
2) never, i don't have a garage of my own or the time and desire to build a VW bug from rust to riches. i do plenty of my own work on my car to know what you're doing is time consuming and a lot of work. it doesn't mean put dumb ass shit all over your car. it's a show car, i get it. but the fact of the matter is i find the spikes unnecessary and dumb and semi dangerous.
3) fire hydrants don't have spikes on them and are marked by the city to be certain colors. people know they are there. people don't expect Chariot spikes to be on a car.
have fun with you're build. again i'm sure it's very time consuming and takes lots of work and ingenuity.
1 thank god ur not
2 i never said it was a show car but thanks. And when u build a car from nothing I would expect u would deserve to put whatever the hell u want on it and not get hassled over some1's opinion because its yours.
3 fuck ppl.
U have no idea what kind of time and efforts Ive put into this. Thanks for trying to understand tho. Chariot spikes will remain.

I dont like the spikes BECAUSE-
they are out of place on the car, it doesn't necessarily flow well with the design one may say.
The vw bug is a more rounded vehicle. by adding a non symmetrical object onto that design offsets it- awkwardly.
NOW, if it were a baja or something off design rat rod'ish (more-so) then I can understand.
It goes back to a post I mentioned to shave the gutters, duane had posted pics of shaved moldings. allows for a flowing design.
For safety thoughts, my cousin had his skull opened up by a forward facing door handle on a older for pickup truck- 40's era. It came down to the owner of the vehicle's insurance company paying for the medical bills even to date.
It also is a thought of how sue happy people are in this current era, accidents happen but doesnt mean one should add to a situation. I.E. your spikes along the vehicle in your possession.
Just my thoughts. I re did my sisters first car in junior high a 71 super beetle, bosche red with factory mouldings soda blasted and re polished. Came out clean. I was hoping for a different progress than bickering.
