im having an issue with my halogen wiring or something along those lines if anyone has any knowledge of how to fix and or diagnose my issue please please let me know lights were working earlier attempted to change light bulbs and all of a sudden no the headlights were not working. all other lights are on and didnt find any fuse's blown anywhere in the vehicle.

do the high beams work?

 

no actually the high beams didnt even work when the lights where working

 

you may have a bad multi function switch....and before you ask what that is...its what you use to turn the headlights/signals with

 

well would my running lights / brake lights still work if this was bad?
could it be a relay from the stock wires or that i maybe fried the wires?

 

what exactly did you attempt to do? install hids? what?

 

no i attempted to change my halogen bulbs and a wire came loose so i reconnected the wire and the lights no longer work but were working before i tried to reconnect the wire. there was a small spark when i turned the lights on from the reconnected wire.

 

sounds like you either dont have it connected or something? there is a plug on each bulb...2 maybe 3 wires coming from it...where did you pull this wire loose from?

 

to be honest im not sure but even with the wire touching the correct connection nothing is coming on..

when i pulled the wire loose i found where it needed to be reconnected but when i did that and turned on the lights thats when i saw the small spark and the lights went off and dont work now..

 

sounds like you blew a fuse...there is a fuse box under the hood and under the dash...have you checked them all with a test light?
